Pau Ferro Classical Guitar Kit

Pau Ferro Classical Guitar Kit

Pau Ferro is visually strong and very versatile tone-wood that provides the perfect a wide range of tonal options for the classical guitar.

Also known as Bolivian Rosewood, Pau Ferro is a dream to work with. It bends like butter and being a tight grained wood, it doesn't require grain fillers and finishes beautifully. It has a clear, focused tone that's well balanced without overtly leaning toward the bass or treble spectrum. This makes it extremely versatile, and builders have had success with it for virtually every style of music.

Pau Ferro; being so similar in appearance and working properties to Rosewood; has been used in various capacities as a substitute for the endangered Brazilian Rosewood for decades.

Pau Ferro is a very well managed CITES-free substitute to rosewood and is 100% FSC certified upon request.

Purchasing a kit is an excellent idea for a builder at any skill level. They are also great value and cost less than buying the timbers and parts separately. This kit contains the best quality, seasoned materials and fittings available today.
